About this site

As a child of the 80s/90s I grew up reading what most considered the monthly video game bible, Nintendo Power.  The magazine lasted for about 25 years before being shut down in 2012 and as I’ve searched online for a place to find information and scans of the old magazines there doesn’t seem to be anything available, at least nothing that seems legal or won’t install gigabytes worth of spyware on my computer.  Even though games are a young medium, the history of that medium is already becoming hard to capture and finding old magazines is becoming harder and harder as the years go on.  That has led me to start this blog where I will make an attempt to scan and document each issue of Nintendo Power, at least through issue 100.  I hope you enjoy looking at the pages that defined the youth of an entire generation of gamers and please post any comments or memories you have when looking back through this great magazine.  Also if you would like to use any of the images, please feel free to do so just give credit to the site so more people can enjoy the scans and if you need a larger image, send me an email at ce_owens80@yahoo.com.  Thanks for visiting!

Chris
